Fact Check

When our team checked for the original video using some frames of the video, the results showed that it was taken from a video uploaded on Youtueb by AlJazeera’s news channel with its logo in the corner. This documentary talks in part about the children that the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) use as tools for propaganda and war. The documentary features children as young as 5-year-old from the Kunar province of Afghanistan who were trained to fight for the ISIL. The documentary details how the children were brainwashed by the organisation.

Claim: An old video was used to claim that Indian madrasa are training young children in using guns and pistols.

Conclusion: The video was not from India and there is no evidence so far about the Indian madrasas training young children in using weapons. Hence, the claim is false.
