Indian bull Rakesh Jhunjhunwala passed away on August 14, 2022, after illness and cardiac arrest. On the occasion, a video claimed that it was his last video showing him dancing as life is uncertain despite huge wealth and money. See the Facebook video here:
The video uploaded on twitter by one @Indiawanttoknow on August 15, 2021 had the caption that read, “The man who make Stock-market dance is dancing himself today.” The tweet, now deleted, showed Rakesh Jhunjhunwala dancing to a Bollywood song.
However, after his demise, it has has gone viral on social media with a caption that claimed that it was his last dancing before death. It read: “Mr. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala who died yesterday left 45000 crores, this video shot few days before his death .. Life is too uncertain. No amount of money can save it so why to waste it!”
When Digiteye India team took it up for fact-check, a search for the original video on Youtube showed up results that it was from July 2021 on the occasion of his birthday on July 5, 2021.
Hence, the claim that it was his last dancing video is false.
Secondly, we could trace the last video of Jhujhunwala that was aired as an interview with the business news channel CNBC about the upcoming stock scenario in the country, where the Big bull was analysing the prospects.
